Let's Go For a Swim

Shawn and I bought the girls a new pool today. This one has all the bells and whistles. It came with a slide with a water spout at the top, a dolphin that has three water spouts and a basketball net. Since the girls got up late from their nap, we let Abigail try it out tonight while Hannah will have to wait until Monday. Here's some pics and a video of Abigail in her new pool.

Father's Day

Here's some pictures of the girls with their Daddy. We surprised Shawn by giving him an Alaskan King Crab dinner at home on Friday night. Abigail and Hannah made him special pictures in Sunday School with their handprints on it for him today. Abigail has started an art project for him that we hope to finish so he can get it tomorrow.

Mommy Daughter War

The other night we were trying to pass the time as the home owners came and did touch-ups and cleaned our carpets before and open house this past weekend. I was trying to think of things for Abigail to do and I thought playing with some shaving cream on her table mat would be fun. She would be getting a bath anyway, so why not get messy? I remember playing with shaving cream in school or at church and I always enjoyed it. Well, I couldn't resist and had to put a little dab on her nose. Well, that started it all and it didn't help that Shawn was encouraging his sweet daughter to attack Mommy! I think I had more on me than she had on her. Of course my neat freak daughter decided she couldn't stand being messy anymore, so we ended our "war" I have to admit that I was rather thankful as I was beginning to get tired of smelling like a man!

Beach Trip June 7

Last Saturday we joined our Sunday School class for a trip to the beach. Abigail really seemed to enjoy it this year, but Hannah did not like the water at all. She chose to stay under our tent most the time and didn't even venture to play in the sand until we started to pack up. For lunch we put Hannah and Leahna (Greg and Tammie's little girl) in the wagon for easier feeding while we enjoyed hot dogs and all the trimmings that everyone else brought. We went to Henderson State Park in Destin, so we had a great pavillon to eat under in the shade. I think we all had a great time, except when Shawn discovered he got a little too much sun! You might get a little sea sick watching the video at the beginning. I was trying to hold Hannah on one side, get the camera going and walk through the sand. Needless to say, it's not too steady of a shot!

Something for Daddy

I have been trying to get something special together for Shawn for Father's Day this year. My plan was to have the girls hold all the letters for Daddy in different shots. Well, I have recently thought of a plan "B", but here are some the photos from the first attempt.

Getting Bigger

Here's little miss trying to pull up. She is finding many different pieces of furniture and people she can pull herself up on these days. She even adds a little bye-bye at the end of this video on cue!
